Materials and accessories required:

To weave all sizes we follow the same step by step. To make it easier for you to follow the instructions we will differentiate the sizes by colors:
Newborns (32 cm in circumference and 15 cm in height): pink
From 3 to 6 months (36 cm in circumference and 17 cm in height) : green
From 6 months to 2 years (42 cm in circumference and 19 cm in height) : orange
Children (48 cm in circumference and 21 cm in height): turquoise
Teens (52 cm in circumference and 23 cm in height) : yellow
Adults (54 cm in circumference and 25 cm in height) : purple
Follow this step by step:
In step 1 : Mount the strings
Assemble the number of chains according to the size they weave:
Newborns : 48 chains
From 3 to 6 months : 56 strings
From 6 months to 2 years old : 64 strings
Children : 72 strings
Teens : 76 strings
Adults : 84 chains
Close the chain with a point slid so that a ring is formed
In Step 2 : Knit the Edge
For the edge we will use elastic point:
Row 1Â (all sizes): rods in all chains
Row 2Â (all sizes): * 1 rod, 1 rod taken from behind *
Row 3 (only in sizes for children , adolescents and adults ): * 1 rod, 1 rod taken from behind *
In Step 3 : Straight Knit
Row 1 (all sizes): * 2 puff points of 5 half-rods, 1 string * repeat from * to * leaving 3 non-knitting chains. Finish the row with 1 point slipped to the first puff point
Rows 2 to 7 (all sizes): 1 point slipped between the first 2 puff points of the previous row. * 2 puff points of 5 medium rods, 1 string *, repeat from * to * starting the next reason in the space between the two following puff points
Row 8 ( 6 months to 2 years ): repeat row 2
Rows 8 and 9 ( children ): repeat row 2
Rows 8 to 10 ( adolescents ): repeat row 2
Rows 8 to 11 ( adults ): repeat row 2

In Step 5 : Frown in the same way for all sizes
Cut the thread leaving about 30 cm. Threading a woolen needle through the puff points of the last row. Gather and secure.
In step 6 : point edge crab puff
Optionally weave a point crab puff edge on the edge where we start the fabric of the cap (in the start chain).
Knit from left to right: * 1 puff point of 5 half-rods, 1 point slipped leaving 1 non-woven chain *. Repeat from * to *
In step 7 : decorate the cap
This step is optional too. They can sew a button, bow, flower, etc. on the edge of the cap. You can also place a wool pompon on the top end.
