This terrific little yucca sends up arching 4′ stems of bright red flowers, a great architectural addition to any xeriscape garden. It requires no attention, thrives in scorching sun, miserable soil and needs little water. As the plant develops, the fronds of red flowers multiply, each blooming in succession for months. Surprisingly, this Yucca also does well in extremely cold winters, is hardy all the way up through zone 5. Graceful and delicate, Texas Red Yucca makes a terrific specimen plant, especially when the fat green pods follow the red blooms up the arching stems. It does well in a container, looks terrific scattered throughout other plantings. It delivers a lot and requires almost nothing but sunshine. Soak the seeds for a day or two, then scatter them on gritty soil in a warm spot. They’ll take it from there. 25 seeds **All seeds ship for one price!
