A Beautifully Renovated New York City Apartment with Scandinavian Influence and Personality – NordicDesign Decidedly, “Nordic-inspired homes around the world” is a recurring theme this week – First Scotland, then Australia, and now the United States! Isn’t it fun to see how this style is interpreted outside of Scandinavia? Today I invite you to step inside a West Village apartment that I find particularly inspiring. A couple (an American and a Norwegian) hired Sheep + Stone Interiors to help them renovate their apartment and turn it into a comfortable and serene space for their growing family. The result is a beautiful, Scandi(ish) interior, with a strong neutral base with contrasting elements, a mix of textures, interesting materials, careful details, and playful touches. I spot many fab designs by Danish brands like Fritz Hansen, Hay, Gubi, Menu, Carl Hansen & S?n, Muuto, etc. These iconic pieces blend seamlessly together and with the rest of the d?cor, without looking too precious.
