Anne Fogarty: American designer from Pittsburgh, PA who favored the ‘paper doll’ silhouette, with full skirts and a small waist. In 1959 she wrote a style manual for women which emphasized femininity, neatness, and being well dressed as desirable qualities This 1958 reproduction sewing pattern is replicated from a Ceil Chapman Design. Pattern is cut to Designer Measurements NOT Standard Pattern Measurements. It is sized as follows: Bust – 35 Inches Waist – 25 Inches Hips (5″ below waistline) – 36 Inches Length of dress is 48-1/2 inches Length from nape of neck to waist is 16-3/4 inches This one-piece formal dress features a dramatic pleated front bodice with pleated and layered off-shoulder short sleeves.
