Books are stored face out at the perfect height for easy browsing, as well as easy clean-up later on! Hand crafted, solid, wood construction– no MDF or particleboard here. I build each one of these book bins to be as strong, durable and long-lasting as the shelves in my little used bookstore here in Stillwater, Minnesota. Please note that since every order is custom made, there are natural variations in knots and grain of the wood and so each piece is unique and will vary slightly from the photo shown. Each piece is handmade to order. Turnaround is about 3-4 weeks from the time that you order until it is ready to ship (depending on how busy the shop is and how many orders are ahead of yours). If you need it by a specific date, please message me first to make sure that I can fulfill your order in your time frame. This bookshelf ships complete and does not require any assembly. SIZE Measurements are approximately 35.5″ long, 12″ high, 11.5″ deep. The usable depth is about 9.75 inches, with three compartments that can hold up to 90-100 books. If you want a different size, please feel free to message me for a quote. LETTERING & PERSONALIZATION: Please select an option from the drop-down menu. If the piece is going to include lettering, please include your preferred text in the “Notes” section when checking out. For example- “ONCE UPON A TIME” or “IMAGINE” or “EMMA’S BOOKS”. I typically use one of two fonts– Classic cap typeface (the larger letters with serifs) or the narrower sans serif brushstroke. If your shelf is going to have images in addition to lettering, the narrower font leaves more room on each end to paint flowers, mountains, etc. IMAGES In addition to the lettering, I can paint just about anything on your bookshelf! Such as– Flowers, cactus, unicorn, rainbow, mountains, arrows, bears, bows, mermaid, animals, and so on. If your selection includes an image, please tell me what you’d like in the “Notes” section when checking out. Feel free to reference one of the photos shown. I can personalize your shelf however you like! If you have an idea for a custom design, send me a message and let me know what you have in mind. I love trying new things and can paint just about anything on your shelf, for a piece that is truly unique. Prices may vary for more complicated designs.
