The Munchie Monster

The Munchie Monster - 22 knitting and crochet awesome ideas

Meet the Munchie Monster! This little monster has quite the appetite and will happily gobble up anything and everything that will fit inside his tummy! (His favorite treats appear to be the snack size softies, but he will merrily munch on other things as well) He can be made in any yarn and hook combination you want. Just be certain that the fabric is firm enough that stuffing does not show through. My Munchie is made in Vanna’s Choice Solids and Prints using three colors. Color 1: Patchwork Grey (240 yards) Color 2: Black (90 yards) Color 3: White (5 yards) Munchie is an intermediate-level pattern. Skills you will need include single crochet, chain stitches, increases, decreases, color changes, and some seaming. Included is a photo tutorial on how create child-safe eyes from felt, although instructions for using plastic safety eyes are given as well. The pattern has plenty of progress photos to help you along your way to making your own hungry monster. See more See less
