To continue with our theme of re-purpose and reclaim, the sides of this rack is oak from an old oak tree that had fallen over years ago on our property. The outside of the tree had a lot of rot and decay but the center was still good. We ran it through our sawmill and ended up with lots of usable wood. This rough sawed oak adds to the uniqueness of this piece. The oak sides have been stained with a pecan finish and a clear satin polyurethane has been applied to the whole rack to protect the wood. This two hook towel or coat rack gives you a unique twist to your farmhouse d?cor using actual vintage wood and makes for a great conversation starter. Dimensions are approximately 10.5″ tall by 11″ wide by 1″ deep.

All the wood is cleaned, sanded and sealed but we leave the wonderful look of the wood by keeping the rough sawn marks, nail holes, nails and other imperfections that give this wood its great character and makes every piece we make one of a kind.
