The backside of the volcano/mountain, water, and green landscape pieces are sewn/ felted down. Playmats are entirely hand sewn. Felt used is a wool blend quality fabric. This mat measures at its widest 31 inches and 22 at its narrowest point. The volcano is 8 inches tall and the snow capped mountain is 12 inches tall. Material is soft to the touch and doubled, wool quilters batting is sewn in between layers to provide sturdiness. This playmat is easily folded or rolled up. Folded it measures about 13 x 13 inches.
